Zhicheng Soy Bean saw a sudden boom in their business after being coined as one of the ten must-eat breakfast place by Super Taste (a Taiwan variety show). Prior to its rise in popularity, Zhicheng Soy Bean has gaining the hearts of many travellers and passer-bys with its prime location at the bottom of Yangmingshan. People who frequent Yangmingshan claim the trip to Yangmingshan is incomplete until you have a taste of Zhicheng Soy Bean!

Feast upon one of Zhicheng Soy Bean‘s specialties — pancakes. Allow the floating aroma of eggs and onions enter your nose as you take a bite on the pancakes that are crispy on the outside but fluffy on the inside.

You may also want to try their chives bento that has chives, bee hoon, shrimps and other ingredients. Mmm, we’re salivating at the thought of it. Get there early if you ever want to have a bite of their famed chives bento because Zhicheng Soy Bean only makes 60 boxes per day!

Order their classic chive-egg pastry stuffed with bacon and vermicelli. Maybe it doesn’t look appetising in photos, but can anyone ever reject bacon? Trust us, the bouncy texture of this breakfast will definitely keep you wanting for more. Frequent patrons of Ah-Ji Breakfast also love a good serving of carrot cake with onion and eggs along with what they call ‘the insider’s special’, chili fish — a type of black pepper teppanyaki noodle.

The previously mentioned beancurd places are famous in their own rights, but Fuhang Soy Milk is on a whole. new. level. Thirty minutes before Fuhang Soy Milk is opened, you can already find a snake forming outside, all of them waiting for the auspicious timing to get their hands on some yum yum in their tum tums.
