Enchanted Kingdom Is Reopening Next Week—Here’s What You Need To Know

The most magical place in the Philippines is once again opening its doors to guests!

Sta. Rosa, Laguna’s world-class theme park Enchanted Kingdom (EK) has announced that it is reopening this 25 February, with new thrills in store and safety guidelines in place.

The park will be open on all weekends from 26 February to 27 June (11 am-7 pm), which means we can finally pencil out those weekend getaway plans so we can hop on our favorite rides like the Space Shuttle and Jungle Log Jam again!

Looking forward visiting EK with your loved ones soon? Here are five things you need to know before you go:

Park Capacity

via KKday Supplier

Observing current COVID-19 regulations as mandated by the IATF, Enchanted Kingdom is limiting its capacity to 70% for its outdoor attractions and 50% for its indoor attractions.

Vaccination Status

via Enchanted Kingdom

Guests of ages, regardless of their individual vaccination status, will be welcomed to the theme park. However, due to the nature of the activities available onsite and for the safety of all, park officials encourage guests to be fully vaccinated before they visit.

*Per local government unit guidelines, only full-vaccinated guests and minors accompanied by fully-vaccinated adults (18 years old and up) will be allowed to enter indoor attractions and dining establishments. Vaccination cards or certificates must be presented as proof upon entry.

Protective Gear

Guests are required to wear masks at all times, except for when they are to dine at the food stations in the park. Cast members or EK staff are also mandated to wear face masks, face shields, and other protective equipment suitable for their specific roles.

Health Checks

via KKday Supplier

All guests are subject to health checks before entering the theme park. Temperature checks will also be conducted at random as necessary. Health Check Forms will also be made available and are to be filled out by visitors upon entry.

Physical Distancing

via Enchanted Kingdom

For visitors to be reminded about physical distancing, designated markers have been set across the park to show guests which spots they can occupy. Acrylic barriers have also been installed in the food establishments so guests can safely converse while eating.
