Goblin definitely threw us head over heels for its magical, heart-rending scenes, many of which are backdropped by autumn foliage. While some of the scenes were filmed in Quebec, Canada, many moments were also set in gorgeous fall locations in South Korea—such as when a drunken Kim Shin (Gong Yoo) proclaimed that Ji Eun-tak (Kim Go-eun) was his first and last bride in the midst of a fiery autumn landscape of Cheongna Lake Park in Incheon.
Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo
Another K-drama with strong autumn vibes is Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo. A lot of cute scenes between Bok-joo (Lee Sung-kyung) and Joon-hyung (Nam Joo-hyuk) took place in the fall season. Most notably, they’ve shown us that autumn is the best time to set up a bunk bed on a rooftop and go on a date under the stars. Cheese in the Trap was also largely filmed in autumn, so we get all kinds of memorable scenes tinted with fall colors.
