The Best Glamping And Camping Spots In Laguna

Every now and then, metro folks need a sojourn into nature to remind themselves of a world beyond the four walls of the office. And camping is one of the socially distant ways that travelers can enjoy vacations in the new normal!

If you’re eager to leave the urban jungle for the great outdoors, there are a great variety of campsites that are just a quick road trip away from Manila. For one, Laguna is home to spectacular natural spaces that have long been the stomping grounds of outdoorsy travelers. Here, we round up our favorite spots in Laguna for camping and glamping, whether you prefer to camp on a quiet farm or by the lake for a waterfront adventure.

In Lotus Pod, you’ll discover that a camping trip need not be a rugged experience. As the name suggests, the bed and breakfast in Laguna is a serene destination with lush gardens, airy common areas, and a lotus pond in the heart of the property. It’s a great place to relax and reset your batteries, whether campers prefer meditating in a quiet corner of the garden or flying through the air on a zipline. While elegant casitas dot the property, tents are provided for anyone who wants to sleep under the stars. Clean bathrooms, home-cooked meals, and fun activities like bikes, board games, and movie nights are also available.

With fresh air, expansive space, and unspoiled natural views, it’s no wonder Bloc Camp Site is a tourist favorite. The Bloc group actually has two separate properties in Cavinti: the Bloc Farm Stay on a tranquil farm and the Bloc Camp Site that’s perched lakeside. Both sites offer T-Houses for groups visiting for a night (or more) of glamping, but the lakefront property also features tents for anyone who prefers a more traditional camping experience. Comfort is a priority with tents appointed with airbeds and pillows. Each T-House is fitted with a small deck where guests can enjoy alfresco meals or hang out to watch the sunset. At the lake, activities like kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding are available.

Glamping Etc. may be an off-grid hideaway, but the large dome tents are far from basic with comfy mattresses, soft pillows, Instagram-worthy interiors, and a floor-to-ceiling view of the lake. Each tent even has a private bathroom, so there’s no need to share with fellow campers. Other awesome camping spots in Laguna are at the province’s most sought-after natural attractions, such as Taytay Falls in Majayjay, Pandin or Yambo Lake in San Pablo, and even Mt. Makiling in Los Baños. Beyond Laguna, Rizal is another destination near Metro Manila that’s home to plenty of cool camping and glamping spots.
