Getting to Bohol
The easiest way to get to Bohol is by air. From Manila, choose from three different airlines:
- Air Asia
- Cebu Pacific
- Philippine Airlines, through PAL Express
All flights lead to the newly constructed Bohol-Panglao International Airport, which uses TAG or Tagbilaran City as the province’s airport code.
From Cebu, consider a high-speed ferry to Tagbilaran Pier.
Updated travel guidelines
Bohol is currently under modified general community quarantine (MGCQ).
Travelers to Bohol will need the following documents:
- A negative nasopharyngeal or saliva RT-PCR test result taken not more than 72 hours before departure to Bohol
- Confirmed accommodations in a Department of Tourism (DOT)-accredited resort
- Travel itinerary
- Prebooked tours with DOT-accredited tour operators
- Quick response (QR) code from the Bohol tourism website. Schedule your visit and register by accomplishing the Google Form for Panglao
In addition to getting the QR code for entry into the province, you must register on the Panglao local government website. You will need to submit your negative RT-PCR test result and hotel confirmation to be issued a Letter of Acceptance.
