A trip to Kuala Selangor would be incomplete without dropping by at this historical hill. Packed with fascinating attractions, Bukit Melawati served as a fortress back in the late 18th century. On top of the hill, the Kuala Selangor Lighthouse can be seen clearly. Nearby are several museums, including the Historical Museum of Kuala Selangor and the Traditional Games Museum.
To reach the top, you can either take the tram or climb your way up. On your way, you’ll see and meet two endangered species of monkey – the silvered-leaf monkeys and long-tailed monkeys.

Located in the township of Jeram, Pantai Remis is a popular spot amongst locals. Even though this beach is not suitable for swimming, it is famed for its seaside atmosphere as well as the stunning views of the Straits of Melaka, especially during sunset.
