Tucked deep in the Gunung Inas Forest Reserve, Bukit Hijau Recreational Forest is famed for its amazing seven-level cascading waterfalls. The waterfalls create seven pools of cool, refreshing crystal clear water. The source of the waterfalls originated from Sungai Mempelan on Gunung Inas and flows through the park.

Gunung Keriang Recreational Park

Gunung Keriang is a 250-million-year-old lump of mainly limestone rock. An elephant-shaped mountain with a height of 218 meters, it stands alone in the middle of paddy fields. This geologically unique park is home to caves of limestone that is rich in crystal formations with attractive calcite crystals.

On the edge of the hill is Gunung Keriang Recreational Park that features walking trails with concrete railings and viewing gazebos. It also opens for adventurous activities like jungle trekking, camping, and caving. Don’t forget to buy some rocks and crystals as souvenirs at a cheap price.

If you are looking for a family-friendly park with more laid-back activities, head to Tasik Darul Aman Park. Located in Jitra, this recreational park features a beautiful lake and a jogging track surrounding the lake. It offers various activities suitable for all range of age.

The park is well-equipped with facilities for cycling, wall climbing, and flying fox. In addition, there are also plenty of water-based activities for visitors, such as kayaking, riding on different types of boats i.e. flamingo boats, swan boats, and mushroom boats.
