Your Emily in Paris Itinerary

Emily in Paris is one of the hottest shows on Netflix right now! Since it premiered on October 2, the escapist streaming series has been enthralling viewers across the globe. From the chic clothes to the diverse cast to the energetic soundtrack, there is so much to love about the series.

Emily in Paris is the latest show from Sex and the City creator Darren Star. It’s a stunning tribute to the French capital, as seen through the eyes of a first-time American visitor. The series’ plot is intriguing—Emily (played by Lily Collins) is an ambitious marketing executive who unexpectedly lands her dream job in Paris and is tasked to revamp an agency’s social media strategy.

Work drama, #girlboss moments, and dating life aside, the biggest draw of Emily in Paris is the majestic city itself. Once international travel returns, go on a sojourn to the center of haute couture and haute cuisine with our Emily in Paris-inspired itinerary.

It’s in the same district as Musée du Louvre, designer fashion boutiques, and Jardin du Palais Royal, where Emily meets fellow expat Mindy. Check out the neighboring Galerie Patrick Fourtin, a gallery showcasing decorative arts and luxury furniture from the 20th century. Have a leisurely lunch at Bistrot Valois, the Savoir team’s favorite hangout. Take a guided tour of the Palais Royal and the Palais Garnier, the opera house where Emily watches a ballet and talks to fashion designer Pierre Cadault.

But did you know that, while the Eiffel Tower is often shown in the series, the best way to experience this tourist attraction is at night? Skip the long lines and bask in stunning views of the Paris skyline while indulging in a delicious French meal at the Eiffel Tower’s La Bulle Parisienne restaurant on the first floor.

The Eiffel Tower is located at Champ de Mars, 5 Avenue Anatole France and is open daily from 9:30 a.m. – 11:45 p.m. For more information, call

Take a private wine masterclass

As Emily quickly learns, wine is integral to French culture. Whether it’s wine at brunch or champagne at a client event, Emily sips a lot of bubbly. But who can blame her—French wine is acknowledged to be the best in the world. The famous Champagne wine region, which is featured later in the season, is less than two hours away from Paris. But if you don’t have the time to go on a day trip or simply want to learn how to appreciate good wine, consider a private wine masterclass with a French wine merchant.

Cruise the Seine

Cutting through the heart of the city, the Seine River and its banks are often featured throughout Emily in Paris. While you may not ride a speedboat and drink white wine with Matthieu, see Paris from a different perspective. Glide by and admire the city’s iconic landmarks on a Bateux Parisiens cruise experience. Gaze at the Musée du Louvre and Musée d’Orsay and soak in the view of the Grand Palais. Sail under the city’s many bridges, most notably the extravagant Pont Alexandre III, where Emily and the Savoir team film a controversial perfume commercial.
