Private Lives

 

Starring: Seo Hyun, Go Kyung Pyo, Kim Hyo Jin, Kim Young Min, and Tae Won Seok
Premiere: October 7 on JTBC and Netflix

Private Lives follows a group of swindlers who seek to disclose the private lives and malicious schemes headed by the government and massive corporations. Seo Hyun of Girls’ Generation takes on the role of a con artist with an elegant aura. Go Kyung Pyo plays the role of a manager with a mysterious identity. 

 

 

Tale of the Nine-Tailed

 

Starring: Lee Dong Wook, Jo Bo Ah, Kim Bum
Premiere: October 7 on tvN

For fans of romantic fantasy dramas, Lee Dong Wook and Kim Bum are back together on your screens to charm you in Tale of the Nine-Tailed. Nam Ji Ah (Jo Bo Ah) is a TV show producer who sets out to track down Yi Yeon (Lee Dong Wook), a man who wanders mysteriously around the city. Bringing conflict into their story is Yi Rang (Kim Bum) the stepbrother of Yi Yeon, who harbors hatred for mankind. 

 

 

Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol

 

Starring: Go Ara, Lee Jae Wook, Kim Joo Heon
Premiere: October 7 on KBS2 and Netflix

This new series follows the quirky and bright pianist Goo Ra Ra (Go Ara) who hits rock bottom due to financial problems. She then finds her way to a piano academy wherein she meets the mysterious Sun Woo Joon (Lee Jae Wook). Will the two form a bond that could bloom into something more?

 

 

Start-Up 

 

Starring: Nam Joo Hyuk, Bae Suzy
Premiere: October 17

The story revolves around young people pursuing their dreams at SandBox, the world of start-up companies. Seo Dal Mi (Bae Suzy) a woman who dreams to be the future Steve Jobs of Korea and a math genius named Nam Do San (Nam Joo Hyuk) who is a founder of a struggling company. Both will share a connection as individuals who try their luck at setting their start-ups. This Netflix-produced Korean drama will be available for streaming on October 17, with weekly episodes every Saturday and Sunday.

 

 

Search 

 

Starring: Krystal, Jang Dong Yoon
Premiere: October 17 on OCN

Search is OCN’s fourth work in their dramatic cinema project following “Strangers From Hell”, “Trap”, and “Team Bulldog: Off-Duty Investigation.” This new thriller drama tells the story of a specialized search party that sets out to uncover an unknown enemy lurking in the DMZ. 

 

 

The Spy Who Loved Me 

 

Starring: Eric, Yoo In Na, Lim Ju Hwan
Premiere: October 21 on MBC

A successful wedding dress designer gets in a bit of trouble when she gets caught up in a spy war with her two husbands who both possess many secrets. Find out how an ex-husband and current husband will end up coming together in this romantic comedy series.
