Yep, the world-class amusement park in Sta. Rosa, Laguna—also known as EK—may have temporarily closed its gates to the public back in March due to the new coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, but that doesn’t mean it won’t let the magic live on.
Now, it has taken its experiences online for theme park enthusiasts to enjoy in the comfort of their homes!
Hold on tight—here are the attractions you can “ride” while lounging on your couch:
One of the most thrilling rides in the park, Space Shuttle is EK’s take on the roller coaster, which propels riders to the height of 35.5 meters (that’s as high as an 11-story building, in case you’re wondering!) before swiftly pulling them around the scream-inducing loops.
Buckle up as a Disk-O-Magic—a disc-shaped platform of a ride—takes you to dizzying spins whilst swinging back and forth like a pendulum. Don’t shut your eyes when the ride brings you to its highest point—it will treat you to a full view of the park before swinging back down!
Jungle Log Jam
Inspired by the Amazon, Jungle Log Jam is a water attraction featuring boats that look like hollow logs, which take guests on a bumpy and splashy “cruise” ride through curves, slopes, and slides. Needless to say, though, that this online experience will keep you dry throughout your river journey.
While nothing can beat the actual experience of riding these attractions, the virtual experiences makes you relive your fondest memories at the park nonetheless, especially now that everyone’s looking forward to Enchanted Kingdom’s reopening as it celebrates its 25th anniversary this year.
