For the sixth year since its launch in 2015, Universal Cool Japan is making a thrilling comeback this 2020, featuring four major entertainment franchises that have made a mark not only in Japan but around the world.
From 21 January to 28 June 2020, Universal Studios Japan will turn into an anime fan’s dream come true, as it brings classics like Attack on Titan, Detective Conan, Lupin the Third, and Monster Hunter to life.

Attack on Titan XR Ride
Experience the terror of a Titan attack! Wear your VR goggles and find yourself surrounded by Survey Corps and Titans. With top-of-the-line XR technology, you’ll be sent flying through up, down, left, and right, on an unpredictable coaster through the grim world of Attack on Titan.
Detective Conan: The World
Love escape rooms? This one is for you! Immerse yourself in the world of Detective Conan, and be part of its many stories as you solve mysteries with little genius detective Conan and his friends in Detective Conan: The Escape.
You can also play detective as you explore the park and solve cases in the real detective excursion called Detective Conan: Mystery Challenge or experience the fascinating fusion of food and mystery at the Detective Conan Mystery Restaurant (opening date TBA).
For the ultimate experience, try the story coaster featuring life-like voices and sound effects in the hair-raising Detective Conan x Hollywood Dream: The Ride crossover.
Lupin the Third: The Live
Following the much-acclaimed debut of Lupin the Third in Universal Cool Japan last year comes its first-ever street live entertainment. Catch Lupin and his gang as they tag guests along on an action-packed getaway. The heart-racing original story will surely keep everyone on the edge of their seats until the very end.
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne x Universal Studios Japan
Monster Hunter is coming back to Universal Cool Japan since its appearance in 2018! This exciting collaboration between Monster Hunter World: Iceborne and Universal Studios Japan is a new and never-before-seen type of attraction that makes use of state-of-the-art VR technology, so participants can fully enter the world of Monster Hunter.
