They are grilled to perfection and served in a bread roll of your choice between white or wholemeal, usually with sauerkraut and mustard. You can even adjust the taste to your preferences by putting sauces, condiments, and toppings on your sandwich.  

This restaurant has no seats or chairs, so it’s always to go when you order here. The fact that it’s a sandwich should make that easy, but just a little heads up. It is stall 99-100 in the market’s Deli Hall.

The American Doughnut Kitchen has been in business since the 1950s. The doughnuts are made using an old but timeless traditional family recipe. People have been lining up for over half a century just to taste this amazing doughnut. These treats are made in a little van parked at the market. The doughnuts may not be perfect in appearance because they come in different shapes and sizes, but they make up for it in flavor. 

They are crunchy on the outside and filled with hot raspberry jam on the inside. The doughnut is also covered in sweet sugar to add to the flavor. Please note that the jam is hot, and if you’re not careful, you may burn yourself. The doughnuts themselves are a dollar apiece, but trust me when I tell you to get at least half a dozen. They’re that good that one is never enough, you can eat six in one sitting easily enough. The doughnuts are best eaten with a cup of coffee for the best pick me up of the day.

Borek is a long piece of baked or fried bread filled with delicious fillings that give it flavor. It’s made of thin and flaky dough called yufka. The pastry is often filled with cheese, minced meat, and or vegetables. It comes straight out of the oven, and the exterior is crunchy with a soft and chewy center.   

One of the best combinations for the Borek is Spinach and Cheese with some lamb. There are a variety of other combinations for the Borek, such as lamb, or potato and vegetables, spicy lamb, and spicy potato.          

It is a delicious Turkish delicacy that costs $3.50 only. Visit the Queen Vic Sunday Market and purchase this meal, and you’ll have one of the best tasting lunches for the lowest price.
