Absolutely Free Things You Can Enjoy In Singapore

Visiting Singapore might be expensive, but the Lion City also offers a lot of amazing activities you can enjoy for free. Here are some of them:

Take a trip to one of Singapore’s most iconic landmarks, the Supertrees, in Gardens by the Bay. These architectural marvels are vertical gardens with varying heights ranging from 25 to 50 meters tall. Each structure has thousands of plants across hundreds of species.

The trees are reminiscent of the magical trees found in the Avatar movie. At night the trees light up and change color as the music plays in the background. If you ever wanted to take a trip to Pandora, this futuristic garden should be on your itinerary. The show usually starts at about 7:45 PM, but it’s best to get there by 5:00 PM to get both the day and night pictures of this breathtaking attraction.

Watch the Marina Bay Light Show

Watch a dazzling scene of dancing water and lights complemented by amazing music with the Marina Bay Light Show. The Marina Bay light show is the most famous light and water show in the country.

Creating the spectacle required some of the most advanced technologies in the world. The show has 18 individual fountains with independent tilt mechanisms that allow it to squirt water up to 20 meters high. Custom high-powered multi-colored LED lights amplify the visual experience. All of these plus the amazing Singapore skyline as the backdrop make for an amazing show for everyone to enjoy.

There is a show at 8:00 PM and 9:00 PM every day. Weekends also have a show at around 11:00 PM. Don’t miss out on one of the best Singapore attractions you’ll ever see!

Singapore is a hot and humid place that can get you feeling sticky. Luckily, there are a lot of air-conditioned places for you to explore. One of the best places to explore is ION Orchard Mall. This elaborate structure has passageways running under the Orchard Road MRT and Orchard Road, which links it to many centers nearby.

The mall itself is an interesting place to go sightseeing. It has luxurious decorations and well-polished floors befitting the many high-end brands in its spaces, although it has basic brands, too, for people on a budget.

You can also find amazing café’s and restaurants to accommodate any taste and craving. A Japanese dollar store is also located in this establishment in case you need to stock up on anything you might need for your trip.

The Changi Beach is situated in the north of Changi in the Eastern district of Singapore. You can go swimming in the beach’s waters if you want, but this place was constructed as a place of leisure as opposed to other beaches. Visiting this place will acquaint you with beautiful scenery along with shelter, benches, and barbeque pits if you’re inclined to cook.

You will also find well-preserved cycling and running lanes to accommodate your workout in the inner parts of the beach. Riding a bicycle is the best way to get around and explore the entire area. You can rent them to help you cover more ground.

All in all, there are plenty of fun experiences to try in Singapore. If you’re running low on funds, you won’t have to shell out that much cash to enjoy your trip. If you plan on visiting the country, check out KKday for the best experiences at affordable prices!
