Start with the oldest museum in Singapore. The National Museum of Singapore saw its early beginnings in 1887 on Stamford Road, operating as the Raffles Library and Museum. Today, it is the largest museum in the country that features two main galleries. The Singapore History Gallery walks you through the city-state’s story from the 14th century to the present day. And, the Singapore Living Galleries, which delights culture geeks with its exhibits on film, photography, food, and fashion.
