10 Tips For The Best Day At Adventure Cove Waterpark

Adventure Cove Waterpark is not everyone’s top-of-mind destination when in Resorts World Sentosa. It is, after all, often overshadowed by the more popular Universal Studios and S.E.A. Aquarium. But, if you love cooling down and splashing about at water parks for some fun under the sun, it is definitely a mustn’t-miss!

Featuring high speed waterslides and wild coasters, a lazy river, and a man-made reef that’s home to 20,000 tropical fish you can swim with, Adventure Cove Waterpark is undoubtedly Singapore’s most exciting water park yet.

Planning a visit soon? Here are our top 10 tips for maximum fun:

Book your tickets online

If there’s one thing you can skip on your visit to Adventure Cove Waterpark, it’s the queue at the ticket counters. As some days can be busier than others, booking your tickets online before you go will save you a lot of time. And the best part: It will also save you money!

Come early!

Adventure Cove Waterpark opens at 10 AM, but you can expect the place to be packed even before its gates welcome eager guests, especially during weekends and holidays. So if you want to get first dibs on the top attractions, come at least an hour early. Do give Singapore’s calendar a look, too, to check if your trip coincides with a national holiday. If it does, you might want to make adjustments to your itinerary to avoid the heavy crowds.

Hit the top attractions first

This should go without saying, but the only way to make the best out of your Adventure Cove Waterpark visit is to try as many rides as you can, so hit the top attractions first! Our favorite? The Riptide Rocket a.k.a. Southeast Asia’s first hydromagnetic coaster that propels your float through soaring climbs, heart-stopping drops, and dizzying twists and turns.

Be sure to wear proper swimwear

Adventure Cove Waterpark enforces a strict swimwear policy. Guests who are dressed inappropriately won’t be allowed to try any of the attractions, so make sure to take note of the park’s dress code.

Pack your stuff in a waterproof bag

You’ll be getting wet…a lot. And for sure, your stuff will get splashed on at some point during your visit. To avoid any inconveniences and damages, pack your stuff in a waterproof bag.

Bring a waterproof camera

To capture every precious moment you share with family or friends at Adventure Cove Waterpark, you might want to bring a waterproof camera or an action camera. Alternatively, you may also protect your phone with a water-resistant casing.

Don’t bring outside food

As outside food are not allowed within the water park’s premises, go have a taste of Adventure Cove’s delights at The Bay Restaurant, a quick-service dining venue with a delectable selection of local, Asian, and Western specialties. For snacks and refreshments, head on over to Blu Ice Treats or Hot Dogs and Drinks Cart.

Secure your belongings in a locker

Keep your stuff safe and secure in a locker, while playing and having fun at the water park. Daily locker rental rates are as follows:

Small lockers – 10 SGD (7.40 USD)
Big lockers – 20 SGD (14.8 USD)

Give the thrilling rides a break, too!

Sure, you can’t get enough of the Pipeline Plunge, Tidal Twister, Whirlpool Washout, and other wild water rides, but before you cap off your visit, do spare some time for the more “chill” attractions. Relive sweet childhood memories at the massive playground that is the The Big Bucket Treehouse or catch waves at Bluewater Bay. You wouldn’t want to pass on the opportunity to swim with colorful schools of tropical fish at Rainbow Reef either!
