Lucerne

First things first, you’ll be whisked away to discover the local sights of Lucerne, central Switzerland’s German-speaking city, on a walking tour. Breathe in the fresh pure air of the waterside village, admire the stunning Lake Lucerne, and check out cool souvenirs, including Swiss Army knives, watches, and miniature figurines.

Titlis Rotair

Then, make your way to heaven, er, Mt. Titlis, a dreamy white and blue mountain paradise filled with nothing but rocks and snow. Yep. Trust us, it looks way more dramatic than it sounds! Hop aboard the Titlis Rotair, the world’s first revolving cable car for transportation from the station to the summit!

Take in the craggy rock faces, icy boulders, and snow-capped mountain landscapes en route. The fully rotating gondola spins slowly so you can admire the spectacular view of the central Alps from all sides. Enjoy a brief respite at the station, where you can eat, relax on the panorama terrace, or just keep warm indoors.

Mt. Titlis Cliffwalk and Ice Flyer Chairlift

Reach the top to walk across Europe’s highest suspension bridge: Titlis Cliff Walk. This is a pedestrian bridge along the cliff of Mt. Titlis in the Swiss Alps towering around 10,000 feet (3,000 m) above sea level. Adrenaline junkies, rejoice! You’ll definitely challenge your fear of heights—it’s known as the world’s scariest bridge ’cause you can see up to 1,500 feet below. Brace yourself for cold, powerful winds reaching 120 miles per hour.

After the bridge, you’ll be going through a 150-meter dark ice corridor or ice grotto, in a cave 20 meters below the surface of the glacier. Next up is the Ice Flyer, an exciting chairlift ride that lets you dangle your feet high above the mountains!

Pro-Tip:

While we recommend going during winter to experience for the full winter experience (freezing temperatures be damned!), we also recommend going during May to July, when the Glacier Park will be open at the end of the tour for some snow tubing fun!
