12 Best Boozy Brunches We’re Toasting to on the Weekends

Brunch—associated with sleeping in, good food and pleasant company, is probably everyone’s favorite meal. When brunches get boozy though, that’s when things get even better.

Our friends over at SG Magazine compiled a top 12 of the best alcohol-laden brunches in town. So let loose and relax over the weekend at these restaurants:

Ash & Elm

Between the royal wedding and FIFA World Cup results, Britain’s got plenty of reasons to celebrate. Find yourself saying cheers to a proper British brunch at Ash & Elms Sunday Champagne Brunch, with mains such as bangers and mash, fish and chips and Lancashire cheese being served alongside classic Sunday roasts.

Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion, or just looking for an excuse to seriously treat yourself, the Sunday Champagne brunch at Brasserie Les Saveurs is definitely a luxurious affair. With an exceptionally grand interior accompanied by soothing live jazz performances, enjoy specially crafted pass-around canapes, a lavish spread of epicurean appetisers and decadent sweet delights as well as tantalizing main courses.

Head down to Pan Pacific Singapore on Sundays where you’ll be able to feast on premium asian-inspired delights such as seafood pad thai, duck egg fried Koay kak, and pan seared togarashi foie gras.

With seven interactive live food theaters, an array of cheeses, fresh seafood on ice and jumbo desserts, it’s a truly immersive experience all at $188 per adult. Fat Prince

Perhaps you partied too hard the Friday night before—consider having Fat Prince’s hangover brunch on Saturdays, Singapore’s first free-flow kebab and cocktail offering. Tuck into comforting mains such as roasted pork belly and beef hor fun, and finish your meal with a traditional bowl of almond cream and egg tarts. Elevate this experience by pairing the exceptional cuisine with fine wines and Champagnes at an additional $19 per glass or S$98 per bottle.

If you’re looking for a boozy a la carte brunch place happening any day of the week, Lavo offers many of their usual signatures that are fit for brunch. Start with the raw bar offerings like fresh oysters ($96/dozen), or go luxe with the large seafood platter ($275) filled with a whole lobster, crabs, clams, ceviche and more.

Then for proper brunch eats, there’re the usual staples like Granola ($18), Wake & Bake ($24) and Chicken & Waffles ($31) to choose from. Wash it all down with Lavo signature cocktails or pop open a bubbly (or two).

Mezza9

We all know that “fresh frozen” food isn’t really a thing (thanks, Gordon Ramsay)—but you won’t have to worry about that at One-Ninety, which offers a market fresh semi-buffet Sunday brunch.

Delectable appetisers and premium imported cheeses from France and Italy await, in addition to a choice of entrees under three gastronomical selections on the menu: “From The Grill”, “Italian Selection” and “Asian Specialities”. Make it bubbly with unlimited Prosecco at $108 per person to have a truly refreshing brunch.

For those who wish to luxe it up, visit Racines, which boasts both authentic French dishes and refined chinese delicacies as part of their Sunday brunch offering. Summerlong

It’s the dreamy brunch spot we never knew we needed, but we’re so glad we have. Nestled along the riverside at Robertson Quay, Summerlong offers healthful Mediterranean eats like the Shakshuka ($26) dish of baked eggs, tomato ragout and merguez sausage.

Or go for the Real Turkish Breakfast ($35), enough for two to share, and is a flavorsome experience to indulge in. There’s the option for free-flow ($23) vegetables, pastas and desserts from the brunch counter too. And oh, you’ll be in good hands when it comes to the booze. Get brunch-appropriate drinks like the Aperol Spritz and Pimm’s Summer Lemonade, both $15 per glass or $50 by the jug.

Zafferano 

Another italian brunch place, but in a fancier setting that only happens once a month. Feast on Italian burrata, veal agnolotti and risotto with four cheeses followed by pan seared duck breast and pan fried seabass at Zafferano.

For $98 per person, you’ll be entitled to free flow of Spumante (sparkling wine), while $128 per person will get you additional pours of Champagne. Finally, satisfy any cravings for some good dessert with Italian favorites such as tiramisu, panna cotta, macarons, and a chocolate fountain.
